WHAM CLAY WORKSHOP

The third annual All Things Clay Exhibition has been a great success.

Each year the quality of the work submitted is getting better. WHAM

is excited to continually bring exciting opportunities and visual art

to our community.

Luey Baiz was selected to be our judge for the juried exhibition.

He comes to us with a very long list of extraordinary academic

accomplishments, community involvement and personal artistic

achievements. His suggestion of offering a workshop to all

exhibition participants and community at large was well received.

Luey expressed all the areas of consideration while making his

decisions throughout the jury process. This was very informative

and elucidating.

Luey also suggested a collaborative throwing demonstration of

making a bowl from 25 pounds of clay. Luey Baiz, Jeff Heeg,

Mike Farabee (Doc) and Mike Brunson all participated in

various phases of the process. They had a ball and believed that

all watching equally had as much fun.
